Extra-large green apophyllite ‘flowers’ on stilbite from the Jalgaon District, India. The central stilbite is dusted with microcrystalline quartz, giving it a sugary sparkle.
A few apophyllite points display flat terminations rather than sharp tips, this is a natural growth feature where the crystal formation was interrupted, not damage.
Please note one of the points of apophyllite has been professionally repaired. (See photo #2)
This large specimen does not self stand, it will ship with a plastic stand for easy display.
