Blue chalcedony with associated apophyllite from Nashik, Maharashtra, India. The chalcedony forms the main matrix, with transparent apophyllite crystals formed across its surface. A representative specimen of the zeolite-rich mineral assemblages found in the Deccan Traps of western India.
This piece has a flat bottom but is uneven and won’t self stand, it will ship with a base to help the piece stand.
