This small, limited pocket produced sharply defined scalenohedral (“dogtooth”) Calcite crystals that have been completely overgrown by a fine layer of Chalcedony. The Chalcedony, a microcrystalline variety of Quartz, is exceptionally fine here, creating a “sugared” texture across the crystal faces.
This piece does not self stand, it will ship with a plastic stand for easy display.
