This striking polished slab a fine example of Gary Green Jasper, also known as Larsonite or Bogwood, sourced from the McDermitt region of Nevada and other regions in Oregon near the Nevada border. Its deep, vibrant green coloration is interlaced with intricate patterns and subtle banding, characteristic of this uncommon jasper variety. The dense, polished surfaces highlight the stone’s natural luster, while the earthy tones and textural variation reflect its volcanic and sedimentary origins. Ancient trees in a boggy environment were covered by volcanic ash and debris. Over millions of years it leaves this beautiful piece.
This slab does not self stand, will ship with a plastic slab stand for easy display.
