Deep black chalcedony stalactite formations from the Jalgaon District, India. Each piece is covered in extremely fine microcrystalline quartz, creating that velvety, soft-sparkle texture collectors love. These darker specimens are especially sought after and make a standout addition to any collection.
A few of these have coated calcite, this being one of them. There is a large calcite in the back center.
This piece is a large self standing cut-base.
